Rammed Earth National has been building rammed earth for the past 20 yrs with Matt Steele being the owner/operator for the previous 7 years. He has been building Stabilized Earth walls for fifteen years, starting in Western Australia and following work to South Australia, Victoria and into New South Wales. He has built rural to formal style Homes, Hotels with 9m high walls, Museums, Schools and Factories, etc.

Rammed Earth National is based in Byron Bay, northern NSW but we are prepared to travel anywhere in Australia.

With using Stabilized Earth the possibilities are endless!! We can do any shape, size or colour, the width usually being 300mm thick. We can build walls from 200mm to 900mm thick depending on their purpose. I find Stabilized Earth the only way to build, with so many properties other building techniques cannot offer. Some of the main points include environmental, load bearing, very high in thermal properties, extremely strong, high fire resistance, blends in with the natural environment, great acoustic properties and rodent-proof.
